Creating a fulfilling teen tour program has been a longtime dream of mine. As an educator by trade, I have worked with teens as a coach, teacher, principal, and administrator throughout my professional career. But MVP Teen Tours was most inspired through my experience at Brant Lake Camp, based in the Adirondack Mountains, where I’ve worked for nearly 30 summers.

During my time at Brant Lake, I led countless teen trips out of camp. Whether it was a one-day or four-day trip, I always tried to make the experience fun for the campers. These successful, fulfilling trips made me want to expand this concept into a unique teen tour program.

Over the past 13 years, I’ve served as a high school teacher and a high school and middle school administrator. For the past four years, I have been the principal at Windsor High School in Windsor, NY. As principal, it has been my duty to ensure that Windsor High School ran as efficiently as possible so that our students could be as successful as possible. This meant that I was directly involved in many programs that involved in-depth planning and execution.

The combination of my Brant Lake and professional experience gives me the ideal background to lead trips that are safe, educational, and fun. I’ve designed the trips so that when one is finished, campers can say they had a great time, they made some life-long friends, and they were inspired by the new things they saw.
